Atheists is an uncomfortable word for followers of Jesus to hear. In goes against the very belief in the one, we call God that we love and loves us without limitation!
But what happens when the church chooses sides in political partnership over the love of God? Christians functionally become atheists. The Church was founded to put trust in God and not in politicians and political systems. And yet, as this country heads towards an election, what side to we stand on? The side of God or the side of a candidate’s party and belief system?
