Melissa Rau
Melissa Rau, the host
Melissa Rau is serving or has served in a number of different roles within churches and faith based organizations such as the Episcopal Church, Bexley Seabury Seminary, Episcopal Church Foundation, and Ministry Architects. One of these days, she’ll earn an M.Div. and will answer the call to ordained ministry or continue being a bold and provocative lay leader by asking hard questions, challenging assumptions, and pushing the bounds of the status quo. She’s passionate about building greater capacity for leadership, evangelism, and faith formation in and beyond the church. Something she strives to do is listen deeply and help all those she meets to recognize and celebrate their belovedness.
Melissa is married to Mike, an Episcopal priest and rector of St. Marks in Venice, Florida. They have two daughters and a son who are or are soon-to-be able to vote. Francis Eugene and (the real) Philly Joel are her adorable and spoiled Australian Labradoodles.
